CD-ROM not reading DVDRW anymore

My cd-rom used to be able to read DVD RW's but I can't get it working again. Any Idea of a program I had or something?

It's not possible for a CD ROM drive to read DVDs. CD ROM drives can only read CDs, CD-RW drives can read AND write CDs, DVD ROM drives can read CDs and DVDs, while DVD RW drives can read and write both CDs and DVDs...Who is the manufacturer of your drive and what model is it? Let us know and we'll be able to help you out...
