The layout and navigation are good. But each page has different background colors. Make it an uniform one. Moreover reduce the font size of the text. Well Nice Effort !

Dont really know what to say regarding appearance.

I'm am NOT talented with making things "look" good (old school coder actually), but what I normally do is looking at as many sites as possible for inspiration, then walk around with paper and pencil for days...you might need to work on your inspiration mate...sorry, just honest.

As for navigation, and functionality, it seems everything is working fine.
