Hello can anyone please help?
I am running XP Home Edition and have 5 user accounts available at Windows logon screen.
All have been working fine except recently when one particular new user only logs on and opens up Outlook Express it freezes and so does the whole of the screen and Windows. No keys function, Ctrl,Alt Del combination does not function so the task cant be added. There is no reponse at all on the screen and the only solution is to turn the power off and reboot.
Everything else works fine when logged on in this user account, internet can be accessed etc its only when Outlook Express is opened that both Outlook Express and the pc freezes.
I have tried renaming the outlook express dbx folders for the user in question but still it freezes.
Outlook Express works ok and functions perfectly with all the other 4 user accounts it is only with this particular one that it freezes everything. It is a new user account that has yet to receive mail apart from the usual welcome mail. Any ideas please?
