Associate Lead Web Analyst Programmer

Moneysupermarket.com, one of the fastest growing companies in the North West, has a new vacancy for a Web Analyst Programmer to join their hugely successful Insure team.

Based near Chester, Moneysupermarket is at the leading edge of IT development, using the latest technologies and developing our own leading edge applications in-house.

We are looking for candidates who will support the existing web tier for the Insure Team through the maintenance of existing ASP code base and new development in accordance to produced specifications using ASP and .NET technologies.

Principal responsibilities will include taking ownership of tasks and liaising with colleagues to manage the delivery of a task. Designing and implementing ASP and ASP.NET solutions, creating functional and technical specifications, development using ASP and .NET and unit testing of completed code and releasing new code to QA environment.

Candidates will have solid web site development experience and practical experience with the software development lifecycle. They must also have experience in the production of technical specifications in line with formal software development lifecycles. Knowledge of browser technologies, such as Firefox and Opera, and experience of technical design and implementation of ASP solutions is also essential.

Other important skills include classic ASP, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, (D)HTML, .NET Framework, Javascript, CSS and knowledge and experience of SQL / Relational DB.
