Ok my network is

Token ring - Netware pc is NAT bridge to Ethernet network

Windows 3.11 for workgroups , NT 3.51 and some sort of netware system (looks unixey?)

Ethernet Network (plugged into wifi router)

NT4 Server and an NT 4 Workstation
Windows 2003 Server and an XP Home client

Wifi Network

PocketPC 2003 PDA and XP Pro PC
Debian Linux Server and Ubuntu Linux Client

I aim to scrap the token ring network and end up with (all wifi)

Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2000 client
2x XP Professional
1x PocketPC 2003
1x Debian Linux Server
1x Ubuntu Linux Client

Problem is , will 2003 server work with my 2000 clients? i know 2003 didnt like NT4 so im not too sure........

also will my old NT4 system run 2k?
its 80 something meg of RAM with 4gb HDD, Pentium 2 (but the better one, with the big cache)
