TROJ STILEN.A, ADW RULEDOR.C, BKDR SANDBOX.S detected using Trend Micro House Call
0
#1 May 22nd, 2004
These are the 8 infected files after running Trend Micro House Call.
TROJ STILEN.A C:\Documents and Settings\Kelly\Local Settings\Temp\1qN8.exe
ADW RULEDOR.C C:\Program Files\Clearsearch\Loader.exe
BKDR SANDBOX.A C:\WINDOWS\system32\AsjjSi.exe
BKDR SANDBOX.A C:\WINDOWS\system32\Ghjz.exe
BKDR SANDBOX.A C:\WINDOWS\system32\HntDkc.exe
BKDR SANDBOX.A C:\WINDOWS\system32\Qbblf.exe
BKDR SANDBOX.A C:\WINDOWS\system32\QdgL.exe
BKDR SANDBOX.A C:\WINDOWS\system32\Scn7y.exe
ADW RULEDOR.C C:\ClrSchP072.exe
I am running Windows Home XP.
I am new to this game so I did not want to do anything (Spybot, HijackThis, AD-aware) before I posted this and had you look into it.
This is my wifes PC, and she started noticing that it was slowing down and ADs were popping up all over the place.
Thanks for any help.

Trend micro has the option to auto clean when you scan. If it couldn't clean up then boot into safe mode here's how, & delete those files & the clearsearch folder.
Then run updated Adaware & spybot, then Download HijackThis from here & unzip it into it's own, permanent folder, (Not a temporary folder or the desktop & not directly on your hard drive). Start HJT & with all browser windows closed, press the scan button. When the scan is finished the scan button will change to save. Save the log to a text file, copy the entire contents of the text file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Most of what is there is harmless & even necessary to the running of your system.

I deleted the files & clearsearch folder in safe mode. When I did a search for the files I found the files also in the c:\WINDOWS\prefetch directory with a file name with numbers .pf - I also deleted these.
I ran AD-Ware and SpyBot S&D - Spybot "fixed 63 problems".
