Greetings,
M computer has windows XP as the operating system, AVG antivirus and Zonealarm firewall. It is only 3 months old.
I keep getting an error message from AVG that a trojan virus has been discovered in a restore file and to do a full scan of the sytem with AVG. However AVG doesnt recognise/identify these trojans in the full scan.
The file is specified as being located in a folder/directory called "system volume information" under the root directory (c:\system volume information) but I cant find this directory through search, the dos prompt or windows explorer so I cant just delete this file. Any ideas or suggestions welcome
Steven

heh heh...
This one should be in the Security section, so I'll move it there.
And you should read this article:

which deals with the issue you've mentioned.

Go here for an on-line scan & set it to autoclean for you.
Plz report back what & where it finds anything.
