As long as joeprogrammer and some of his friends continue posting questions in the new forum and you plan to consider answering them

Are you noticing something about that poll, guys? All the people who voted for the second option, "It's alright to keep discussions in their own language forums" are people who I suspect don't even program! I don't think their votes should count .
MWAHAHAHA!

My rule before I'll create a new forum:
Find me 10 existing threads (ie in the C++ forum) that could be used to seed a new forum. If you can't even find ten threads (it doesn't matter how old they are) then there isn't enough interest in the topic. If members aren't posting about it within an active forum they sure aren't going to post about it within an inactive forum.
So go off ... find me those 10 threads, and I will be more than happy to use them to populate a new Game Development forum.

"Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal."
To make an informed decision, I'm curious why iamthwee is so against the idea? Many other programming forums have game development forums which appear to be successful. We also don't currently have a place to specifically discuss OpenGL and DirectX.
