hi, i've been having a problem with my wireless network connecting to the internet. My computer finds a linksys signal and tries to connect to it, but it gets stuck when trying to find the network address; it says can't ind IP address. It then conects to another network which has a low signal and kicks me off of the internet every few mintues. I used this computer in my old apartment and it connect to this network just fine. Please help
I had similar problems... here what I'd check. Are you using WEP on your linksys??
I found it easier to use Mixed mode on Wireless-G Settings and disabled A. Also, make sure you're using the correct IP scheme or DHCP. Are you using DHCP?? Also, change your channel to a higher channel that those networks around you.
Let me know if this helps.
