Sound card!!!!!!???

Hi i have a big dilema,my laptop is a dell inspiron and everthing is built in,i have never had any real probs but all of a sudden my sound car has disappeared my computer says i dont have one strange because i do in there somwhere and could hear my games play and music up until a few days ago i have ni icon in my tray nothing can any1 help??????? am at my wits end:cry: Jadey also trobleshotting doesnt help at allll

check if your driver is currently installed you can look for it doing right click on my computer and selecting properties... then go to hardware tab and click on device manager button, if you manage to see a question mark icon in the drivers that says something like audio device or something next to it, that means it unistall itself. If it does just re-install the driver. Hope this helps
