PHP Developer (London)

Working for a major publishing company that publishes magazines that are right at the heart of UK culture. They work in a fast, sometime frenzied but always enjoyable environement. They are now looking to hire a highly skilled PHP developer to join their in house code development operation. You will be responsible for developing new and improving existing functionality of their various systems and work as part of a highly colloborative team.

PHP/MySql are the obvious core competencies for this role and it is essential that you have experience of PHP5. Good knowledge of AJAX and Javascript/DOM including libraries and Frameworks such as scriptaculous, moo.fx, prototype etc. You will have the ability to code semantic XHTML and CSS wth some cross browser testing and will be able to show examples of substantial web based applications and/or database driven websites upon which you have worked.
