My Safe to Remove Hardware Icon in the Notification Area of the Task Bar is no longer there. I've been told that most of the time there will not be a problem removing hardware without using it, but sometimes it will corrupt data if the hardware device is not stopped before removing it. I posted this along with a HJT log in the Viruses, Spyware, and other Nasties Forum and the log looked good. I was advised to post the problem here for additional help. I appreciate any help offered!
