I would like to start VB.Net programming per contract but I am unsure how to go about it. I have done a considerable amount of programming in school(Java, C++, VB6 & .Net). I've used UML and standard naming and commenting. My problem is what is next? How do I get to the point where I am able to program according to industry standards and how would I go about showcasing my ability to prospective employers? Thanks for your helpful guidence.
