As standard flash has a white background when you play the movie, when i insert the swf file in dreamweaver into my existing web page, the preview shows a white background of flash with the movie playing and the rest of the page a image background, how do i get rid of the white background in flash so all i can see is the movie playing and the web page image. thanks.

1) Click on publishing settings in the properties panel at the bottom of the screen.
2) Select the HTML tag.
3) Look down to the windows mode drop down box.
4) Select transparent Windowless.

That should be it. Hope that helps you.

You could also pick the background using the properties panel. That you could do by clicking on the scene and tthen selecting bg.

You could also select any background anytime if you prefer to publish on web page.
