I have a trojan horse called>>>>>>>>>trojan horse proxy.5.AT..It wont go into the virus vault and I have ran a trojan horse remover and it says I dont have one..BUT my AVG keeps saying I have it...
How do I remove it?????

Hi. I just found your other log posted at ComputerCops.They get very bogged down with logs there & can take a little while to get to you, but it is well worth the wait.
You have a couple of things there that need fixing, but can you also let us know the problems you are experiencing please.

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete the following if found:

C:\Program Files\MySearch< folder

Reboot normally.

Uninstall Xsoftspy (up to you though) as it is known as a rogue spyware removal program. See here.

Post another log after doing the above with further explanation of your problems plz.

Yes. My apologies. I got that one but missed putting it in the log after checking up on xoftspy. Delete the entry using hijackthis, then boot into safe mode & delete the actual file. Reboot normally then post that new log.
