Hi new user with a small problem - just want to know if there is a programme that can monitor traffic to/from my pc in realtime and tell what programme/app it is going to or coming from.

I have a cable modem with a monthly limit - one day I got a huge load when only I had access and I know I did not generate it. I now monitor packets to try to stop it happening again but I have no idea how much is in a packet!

I have other problems that I am dealing with OK I think.

Is this the right place to post this?

I have as far as I know no viruses - at least acc to free AVG and paid-for Nortons. One anti-spyware sacn gave me a clean bill , Spyware doctor gave me a whole lot of risk files but most are cookies.
