Unable to send mail in Outlook 2003 but can receive email

This problem began today. I've had my laptop since May '06 and I haven't had any problems until today. I can receive email without any problem. I am unable to send email. The email sits in my Outbox. I do not receive any errors. I have been searching Microsoft & this site for help but have not been able to find it. I'm a realtor and my email is my life-line. Can anyone help please?

Im having this same issue, can send from outlook 2003, but the out going wont go. cant find any help. Please advise.

I see this was marked solved, but dont how how.

this works w 07 not sure about 03

search for scanpst.exe
run it till it stops returning errors.
reboot.
should fix your pst file, and allow it to send.
