Addition to existing company networok

We need to add a server that will reside Offsite in different building. It seems we must have an Internet carrier to install a T-1 with routers on both the external site and our company site. My problem is to make this server a member of our existing network. How would I manage this through the two routers, keeping in mind that our company site already has a Cisco 2611 router installed for our existing network. Do I create a new domain (Windows 2003 standard on all servers) or a child domain, or just a stand alone? Not sure how to proceed....thanks.

you can set up a site-to-site vpn, using a router that supports such a connection (or a pc based, linux/win2k3 router), and through that connection use the offsite server as if it is connected locally (just over a very slow connection).
