i hv D815EEA mainboard with P3 and windows 2000,i m nt sure whether i hv pci slot on my mainboard or nt.in the device manager i can see this:

i want to install nic card,pls also temme is there any special make of nic that wil work or any 1 wil do?

Open it up.

If it has white slots there pci
should look like this: http://www.hothardware.com/reviews/i...n/pci_slot.jpg

99% of the time any wired network card will do, get a cheap one for under £20 - there usually very good and it if doesnt work then no loss

yes i hv pci slots....but do need any drivers for my nic card?

generally you dont. if you get a fairly standard one they usually work first off with anything above windows 98. If for some reason it doesnt work, its easy to fix anyway
