My Dell laptop is saying"Primary harddrive disk 0 not found No bootable devices-strike F1 to retry boot F12 for set up utility" and is making a clicking noise. On the set up page it says "Bios version A20" and "Latitude C600"(not sure if that info matters, very new to computers) Please help,Thank You

Go into the bios at startup and see if the bios finds a hard drive. If not your hard drive may be dead.

i have a C600 and it is telling me the same thing. but the screen that comes up first asks for a hard drive password, and without it, it says I cannot access my files. i don't have a password for the harddrive. why is it doing this?
