PC won't power - green LED on motherboard, new power supply

hi my motherboard aint working the hard drive light comes on but the power light goes green its a dell dimension 3000 478 socket board which has some lights at the back which dont light up it happened after i pluged my moniter in it shut it self down. any ideas? if u no what it is can you please email me at anz50takka@hotmail.co.uk plzzz
