1)Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?

There is no nice way to put it, you homepage is boring.

I confess I don't tend to read much on websites before I decide whether to leave or stay. So, your small two paragraphs of text probably won't make people like me stay on your site. You also have a google adsense block that is the size of your main content!!! I think you should add the following:

• A logo- this is one thing people will remember your site by,
• A picture of the pagerank on the google toolbar. So people know what it actually is!
• A bit more color. Some different sized, short, sharp text so that people instantly know who you are and what you are offering.
• You must decrease the size of the adsense element, it is way to big.
• You need to seperate of the copyright info.

2)Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?

The site can achieve it's main purpose. However, in order to make people choose to navigate away from your homepage and actually use the tools you have made you must persuade you user to do so. I think with a bit more concentration on design you can easily make it a good tool for web developers world wide.

3)Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?

I personally think that some simple buttons that look professional and clean will make people more likely to click on your navigation. However, if you just want the simplist possible page then that is probably a good solution. However, simple buttons can be seriously small in size these days.

4)Appearance/Attractiveness

I think I have kind of mentioned this already. However, your site does look attractive don't get me wrong. It looks good for something that has zero images. But the use of images does make a website look far better.

5)Images failing to load

There aren't many images anyway. However, all of your page ranks icons did not fail to load.

6)Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?

To make your page better for search engines you need to make sure that you do not use the H1, H2 etc, tags for anything but headings. I have noticed that you have used one for your google adsense! You should also make sure that you have a H1 on every single page!

Thank you so much. Your input is greatly appreciated. I fully understand that my homepage ( landing page ) is boring and i should consider adding a nice logo and header as soon as possible. Repeating visitors/traffic is important and i should try my very best to add extra services to the site.

I have an idea. Is it a good option if i patch the script in order to let visitors keep track of their alexa ranking as well? Some mention that alexa ranking is nothing but some might consider this tool as web traffic tracking system.
