A fabulous opportunity to work for a progressive and ambitious web-based software company. Our client, an established and market-leading company, is seeking an experienced web developer with ASP, ASP.NET and SQL Server background for a client- and delivery-focused role.

With a strong technical background and commercial experience with ASP, ASP.NET and SQL Server, the successful candidate will have the communication skills to be able to liaise with sales, clients and technically knowledgeable developers to discuss clients' requests and work with developers to implement those requirements

The role will suit a software developer who wishes to concentrate more on communication skills with clients than core development. Activity will be split between full-time delivery and dealing with clients, and working on processes and product requirements.

Responsibilities will include delivery to satisfaction of clients, feedback to sales of any issues that arise throughout the process, clarification of product and process specifications, and feedback into product development of functionality/general needs of clients.

Within this organisation there are a number of career channels up to account manager that this role may lead into depending on abilities and availability of positions.

The person in this role would be a good ASP and SQL Server programmer. Knowledge of ASP.NET is desirable but not essential.
