Sounds and Audio Devices Properties

Hi people,

I've recently found that there is no audio from my speakers, but Windows does play system sounds from the onboard(?) speakers on the base unit.

Having tried the "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" I've noticed that all the options are ghosted out so I can't select them! Any ideas?

System sounds seem to be coming from the base unit. I'm guessing it's got a speaker of some sort on it!

Have you tried reinstalling your audio drivers?

Have you checked to make sure the card is seated properly on the motherboard?

Do you have another sound card you can swap the current one for just to test it?

If your sounds are coming from the system speaker, I believe your sound card is either not being recognized or something is wrong with it.
