can someone tell me what i should to to get rid of this CoolWebSearch variant? heres the log for it. the two trojans i have are Troj Stilen.A and Troj Agent.L. Please help me!

You can get rid of the trojans using TrojanHunter. Afterwards try running and updating Spybot
 and Ad-aware6.0. For your problem with CoolWeb use CoolWebshredder. You can download it from here.



Afterwards download HijackThis here . Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups. Run the program, press Scan, press Save log. Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post, because man :eek: you sure have a very long one.

Okay try removing these:

And another tip. Go to the roll-down menu [Extra] and click on [internet-options]. Remove any cookies, files and offline files. See if that helps.
And with the help of Trojanhunter did you get rid of the trojans?

In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz.
