How to Auto refresh a part of a page

Hi there, I'm making a webpage with some news that I can update thru another aplication that puts the new news in my "mysql" database.
:-|
No problem tile now, but i'd like my page to auto refresh the include that I have with de news in PHP.

So I'd like some help from anyone that could make this possible, I don't know if I really need to refresh the houl page or if I can do what Iwant to do,that is to refresh just the parte that has the news...

Is done with use of JavaServerPages(JSP) or PHP?
If your answer is PHP, click on Flag Bad Post link and request your post to be moved into PHP section.
However if it is to be done in JSP you may need to provide some extra info...
