connect 2 branches

hi all
can anyone help me to connect 2 branches in 1 network both having adsl line with wire and wireless intranet does vpn is suitable for that there is around 5 km distance between these 2 offices.

first, have a look here:

after that let us all know what kind of equipment you are using, what OSes, what is the budget... anything else you feel is relevant, like traffic volumes, types of applications passing through
