Hi and welcome to Daniweb forums
.
Please go here for Wintools removal instructions.

Viewpoint Manager is considered to be foistware, rather than malware, since it is installed without users approval, but doesn't spy or do anything "bad". Please read this article: http://www.clickz.com/news/article.php/3561546
I suggest that you remove the program. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.

Please download and install AVG antispyware toolIf you have an "always on" connection to the internet, physically disconnect that connection until you are finished with Safe Mode and have rebooted back into normal mode.

- When updating has finished. Close AVG antispyware.
Make sure to close all open windows/programs/folders. Have nothing else open while AVG antispyware performs its scan!
- Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
- Restart your computer
- After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
- Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear use arrow up to highlight

Thanks for taking the time to help me. I have deleted ViewPoint, though a small portion of it will not leave. I am in the process of deleting WinTools and doing the AVG antispyware download as well. My Control Panel is now accessible again after having run SpyBot this morning; however, I still will do the things you have asked, as SpyBot could not remove everything.
I will post a log here after all is accomplished for you to check but it may take me until tomorrow.
Again, thanks so much for your help!!! You are truly AWESOME!!!
