You will be working on full life cycle development of Web applications, mostly dealing with SOA architecture and bringing over RPG Logic to more Web based business process applications. Develop schedules, coordinate plans and report status with limited supervision for project work. Supports and assists in the preparation of system integration test plans within the development area. Provides estimates for Work Requests/modifications to assigned function. Coordinates testing for assigned systems and sub-systems. Prepares recommendations on methodology and development environment improvements. Leads walk through of code. Defines business function requirements and creates test databases and files. Assists in the evaluation of new and/or vendor provided software. Participates in Technical Reviews of new and existing business applications. Prepares recommendations for continuous technical improvements in business functions. Applies technical knowledge to develop, implement, support and maintain complex applications systems, architecture of a business function. Recommends continuous technical improvements in business function. Performs other assignments to comply with business strategies and initiatives. Serves on special task forces and Quality Improvement Teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's Degree along with 5-7 years experience working in object-oriented analysis, design, and development (OOA/OOD/OOP).
5-7 years experience in J2EE application development (e.g., Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Servlets, etc.)
Requires J2EE development experience in a AIX/UNIX environment.
5+ years of experience with J2EE application servers with IBM WebSphere or BEA WebLogic or JBoss. (WebSphere Application Server experience is highly desired).
5+ years experience working with relational databases such Oracle, DB2, or Sybase.
3-5 years experience interfacing with external systems through messaging mechanisms such as JMS, MQSeries, or other.
Must also have Web based development experience including HTML, JavaScript.
Solid interpersonal skills required.
Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical people.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
