One thing that I noticed is that there is no link out of the forum to your main site.
On the main site the latest news links do not link to the news item but rather, just Google news. I don't know if your latest news links are manual or an RSS feed, but it could be you are referencing the wrong site. One reason I went with Yahoo news instead of Google news on one of my own projects was that Google explicitly forbid using their news in this manner. Yahoo was a little more vague about it .
Over all I like the design of your main site but I think the forums could use some personalization.
Good Luck!

The look and feel of your forum is like many others which may make it easier for your members to use but also gives the impression that you set it up in a day… unfortunately, I cannot give you much advice how to promote forum membership as my own are like a ghost town.

it is ok to use the default subsilver phpbb template.. but i suggest you use other templates availbale.. so that it gives more appeal to others..
