Hello, I had some trouble with my windows xp on my laptop and from this web site tried to repair it, After 3 failed attempt I did a reinstall, It brought me to a screen if I remember correctly about partitions and nonpartitions, And asked if I wanted to deleate any, Their were 3 options, I picked one and hit install, I did not deleate anything,
Everything seemed to go good but I have no audio speakers now, It's getting late so I'm calling it a night, but did I do something wrong? It's a dell pc so do I have to put in the dell disks that came with the pc, any other advise? Thanks all,
STeve

Did you reformat the partition before you installed the OS, and was this the same partition that the other installation was on?
