SimplyMEPIS 6.5 final released today.
![]() |
The release of SimplyMEPIS 6.5 final is now available. It's a nice, easy to use and install, edition of MEPIS. There were quite a few alphas(2) and betas(7) as well as three rc candidates so a fair bit of work went into this version. It has better wireless abilities than ever before plus it comes with beryl. Just a bit of eyecandy that users were asking for I think. I thought beryl was neat but I don't use it anymore. It slowed things down just enough to notice so I like the speed of kde over beryl's neat tricks. They are pretty neat though.
