I am having the sames issue as amdm55, join date 4/2004. I can't open links within Internet Explorer 6.0. I am running XP Pro. I have tried using Spybot and AdAware6.0. Even though it finds files which I fix but that does not help.

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete the following if found:

C:\WINDOWS\realtime.exe< file

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz.
