Campaign Strategist
A Campaign Strategist’s success is measured by their capacity to understand the business goal of the client, analyze the available data and design test plans that are aimed at achieving those goals utilizing all available tests and strategies
The Campaign Strategist is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of all tests for the clients that are assigned to them. The Campaign Strategist will work closely with the Account Director or Account Manager to build the appropriate testing plan with a suitable timeline that is required to meet the designed tests’ minimal data requirements.
Campaign Strategists need to stay abreast of all new products and services available from the search engines and from Did-it. It is critical to understand how these products, both internal and external, will impact clients’ campaigns and how to leverage them for maximum success/results. Knowledge of all data that is tracked and available for analysis is essential to create strategic recommendations, suitable test designs, and plans for clients.
Essential Job Functions:
Design and Report Client Tests for Team
· Design, Implementation and Rollout
o Proactive research into strategic accounts looking for testing opportunities as well as possible candidates for new technologies/services
§ Utilize comScore market and trending data for opportunity analysis
§ Review internal department reporting for possible testing opportunities (Geo, daypart, click-trail, etc.)
§ Request build-out of custom reporting from the Tech department to provide deeper analysis for possible testing opportunities
o Responsible for designing test plans, timelines, budget and roll out schedule.
§ This includes planning roll-out/leverage of test results to other areas within the campaign after completion of test phase.
Monitoring and Reporting
· Review all tests daily that are currently running, look for any drastic swings in performance metrics (spend, clicks, orders) and ensure correct implementation and desired performance of test.
· Results reporting continues through test phase and beyond into the roll out phase. The goal being to prove whether or not findings from the test phase are consistent when applied to a larger sample.
* Position requires proficiency in MS Excel including formula creation, custom report with table/graph creation, etc.
