Quick HijackThis question

I just have a really quick question regarding HijackThis:

Checking off O4 entries in HijackThis hard deletes them off your computer, right? As opposed to going into msconfig and unchecking them from there?

It's probably an obvious "yes," but I just need to be sure =)

both methods remove the startup entries from your puter registry, kid, an that's it.. the software behind the entries remains; all msconfig asks is that you confirm the change on your next restart [asks in a slightly forbidding way.. ]
