How much does having 1 or 2 adsense ads on your site negatively affect the seo? It is just skipped by the spiders or are the links counted as external links?

It doesn't affect SEO at all ... AdSense is delivered with JavaScript, and search engine spiders can't understand JavaScript.

Hmmm I think it could have a negative effect in Yahoo and MSN if you have some google ads on your website.
