I'm on windows Media center, Acer Apsire 5610 laptop.

/\ ranadonly shutting off/specs of laptop now since last thursday( i think) i've got the "Invalid License ID" pop up for "monitor" whenever i log on. (attached image) logged ontoday and boom restarted with no warning. Scanned files on start up again and found 2 dodgy norton entries (normal, they were tmp fieles) and

then log in, 2 seconds and BSOD. Didn't get a chance to catch the messgae just "a problem has occured"

start up AGAIN and go into BIOS to see if i can and i can, then normal start up, checks disk and this time losts of errors

and instead of EDSLOADER there also an EXPLORER and MONITOR and another i missed.

I did take pictures of the screen but they might not be good quality. i also did a hijakk this scan which below. I haven't installed anything since march and i tried a system restore on the first shut off but it never worked. Should i format? or phone tech-people? or is there a real siimple way of solving this?

is it still corrupted if it's worked normally for the last... 2 hours? I will format it tomorrow i guess.. damn computers

there's a teeny-tiny problem with the formating idea... i've lost my recovery disks, well the first one i made.. it's blank. And i don't have a hard copy of windows as it was "built in" as it were. ~Should i phone the tech guys and see if they can send me a copy? O_o
