About one month ago I accidentally deleted all the information off of my computer inculding all my microsoft software. Since then my computer has failed to start up properly almost every single time. The few times that I managed to get it to start up I was unable to access the internet. I called the provider and they sent me a new modem because mine was out of date, but this didn't produce any results. I was then advised to take it to a specialist who could fix it and I have done so three seperate times!! Every time they said my computer was fixed, but it still doesn't work. Now I think that it is attempting to start up in either stand by or safe mode, but when I click on a profile it shuts down. Since I got it back the last time which was two days ago I still cannot access the internet and it has started up only three times but it would freeze or shut down after a few minutes. If anyone could provide any advice I would much appreceiate it. My research has not helped on bit. Please keep your advise as simple as possible or explain it really well, because I am not computer literate and I am very bad with all that lingo and information. Thank for any help possible.

Princess, we gotta guess so much! Like we could assume that the techs "repaired" windows? [a repair installation..]. If you lost all your files and information why not just reinstall windows? - a clean slate. But assuming you don't wish to do that, and if it is that you occasionally get it to the point that it runs in normal mode then do this: first impose upon a cobber to dl hijackthis to a pendrive, floppy, cdrw..you choose, run it and post a log.
==download hijackthis: http://216.180.233.162/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe
-install it to a new folder alongside your program files and then rename the Hijackthis.exe to imabunny.exe.
-in that folder start HijackThis by dclicking the .exe; now close ALL other applications and any open windows including the explorer window containing HijackThis.
-Click the Scan and Save a Logfile button. Post the log here.
"lingo and information"??! - I promise you that you'll get none of that here.

Deep, deep in the woods, but walking about.
