sorry i guess i should have been more specific the... the exe u sent me to remove the file worked fine i am talking abot the exe for java that is not working

Ok, could you please do the rest of the instructions i posted, thanks 
problems problems... for some reason i cannot seem to get internet explorer to connect to any websites even though mozilla seems to be working fine. so i cannot do the kapersky scan
any help you can give me would be appreciated

Ermm, Are you sure there's no issues with your ADSL Modem?

ya my modem is workin fine because i have a couple computers running on one connection and they all seem to not have a problem with internet exlorer its just me and no i have not tried to reinstall internet explorer.

ok.. just a little update for ya my problem with mozilla not connecting to websites went away after i did most of those steps u gave me to do. and then after that as i told u already the whole internet explorer not connecting problem came up... so i just tried to reinstall internet explorer and i still cannot connect.. i am running outpost firewall and i checked to make sure that internet explorer was allowed and it is and i also checked windows firewall for the same thing internet explorer is also allowed in that. so ya i just wanted to give u a quick update on the situation
