compare images and retrive in ASP

hello
im preparing a chemical database where i need to store chemical structures. ASP as front end i want that when the user draw a structure(user will manually draw the structure) in frontend there should be a search in the database for similar structures and all the similar structures should be displayed.
please help me
i want to know whether this is possible with access and if yes what format should i store the pictures in the database.....do i need some editor for the same???????in the front end i think i'll need JMol or similar program to be present......
plz help me its important.....
