We have a 3COM8760, firmware v.2.2.4_ww, wireless AP attached to a 3COM4500 PWR PoE switch. A Linux server is running DHCP.
After some time in operation the AP fails to send out IP addresses to clients who have associated with the AP. Cycling the power to the AP resets it and network connection is possible again.
The problem seems to develop over time.
This sounds like a similar problem to the XP-Netgear problem in another thread.
Any similar experiences with 8760's and any reasons and solutions?
Also what is the difference between .2.4_ww and .2.4_sh?
