Check if you have proper connection, If yes then try to clear all the cache.
Else try to open the same site with another browser. If you see its the IE then you can run the repair command.

i think it is a good idea to change your browser to mozilla firefox as it is much more secure and easy to use. you dont have to take my advice but i deffinatly think you should consider it or maybe just give it a go!!

and it might even solve your problem!

hope i helped

hi,
go into your - internet options.
- connectons tab
- LAN settings
and have a look what is selected. if automatically detect settings is not ticked and nothing is click the tick box.
however if you have a proxy and know your IP address fill it out.
if that doesn't solve your problem then the problem isn't in your internet it will be a physical cable assuming you are connected to your network properly.
give it a go can't hurt.

im running mozila firefox too, its really good and i recommend it. go for it.

also, i have been seeing this on my vista computer, after you update the computer, the broswer stops working, sometimes all broswers stopped working and windows media player wont play videos either.

i told microsoft about it, but they ignored me.

I have seen this error when the computer is not connected to the Internet. Why it says, "Invalid", I do not know, but when the connection is restored, this error disappears. I mean, you KNOW www.msn.com is not invalid!
