I'd like to do something like this with my datagrid.

Something like the first column has 1 row while the 2nd column has 2.
I know this is possible with ASP.NET but I'd like to try it in VB.NET.
I know this is also possible with flexgrid control. Unfortunately, I'm using .Net 2003 and I heard that flexgrid doesn't work well with .Net 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
