The SOA Administrator maintains the Sonic Enterprise Services Bus (ESB) systems. Resolves complex technical issues in accordance with defined service level agreements. Coordinates all activities on the Sonic Enterprise Services Bus which includes:

o Deployment of new Web Services
o Orchestration of services based on subscriber needs
o Provide 2nd level support to help resolve error messages reported by enterprise monitoring group
o Be the support liaison to Sonic Software (Progress) support group, opening, reporting status & working towards the overall resolution of support tickets.
o Create & maintain change management procedures related to the introduction of new services onto the ESB.
o Schedule & apply software updates in accordance with change management procedures
o Report operational metrics against Service level Agreements to direct manager on a weekly basis
o Escalate issues to & work with the developers & systems administrators to provide root cause analysis
o Ensure DEV, QA, STAGING & multiple PRODUCTION environments availability & maintain a thorough understanding of environment setup & configuration
o Maintain documentation on environment configuration
o Consistently refines application administration & support procedures to improve support response times

Position Requirements:

5+ years of EAI experience, ideally Sonic ESB/MQ but will consider other EAI platforms such as Tibco, WebMethods, SeeBeyond and/or Oracle.
5+ years of Web Services experience.
Must have a experience working in an SOA environment, deploying, monitoring and administrating Web services.
3+ years of Java/J2EE programming experience in JDK versions 1.1 - Java 5.
3+ years expeirence with SOAP/XML messaging
3 years of Unix experience including understanding of Unix commands and operating system, as well as experience in Shell scripting.
General knowledge of MQSeries.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
