wireless networking please help!!

Hi
Hoping someone can help. I have a bought a 2nd computer and plugged in a wireless adapter into it. It connects, then disconnects to the computer. In device manager it is there, says its working fine but its in hidden devices. I have used networking wizard and still cant connect to internet. Please help.

Welcome to Daniweb!

your first computer is that wireless or wired?

and stupid question, but are you using your own wireless router or a neighbours?

lastly, you can't connect to the internet, but is it connecting to the router?

Hi, my first computer is hard wired to the router. yes its my own router not a nieghbours!
and no it wont connect to the router.
