hard drive problems

Hi My dad has formatted and replaced windows xp on his computer but it will not pick up his second hard drive, it will only pick up the first one, the system was working fine untill he reformmated it . Any ideas warmly welcome

check ur bios ....if its not showing there then check jumper settings.
