brain dead cisco catalyst 3560 switch

I was able to get my hands on a catalyst 3560 switch for about 20 bucks i have got into it with the console cable and from what i can see all the programming has been wiped out on it, when i try to download the rar file that i got off the cisco website for it it wont let me i was able to download the bin part of the rar file to the switch and have a flicker of life from it, I know i am doing something wrong when i am trying to download the rest of the file I just dont know what please help and thanks in advance
