A bit slow to load and the position of the link to the guestbook on the homepage isnt quite right (the text is partially obscured behind an image)

otherwise very nice. Looks quite good (i wouldnt say professional but its a lot better than amateur)

one problem though, i run at 1280x1024 and i had to scroll a bit. 20% of all users use 800x600 or below and 30% use 1024x768 and they might have a problem.

The site looks nice, but here are my comments.

1. Sites with black backgrounds have never impressed me. For some reason, and I don't know why, they don't look as professional as sites with a lighter background.

2. The email me link may lead to lots of spam. It would be better to have this go to a page with a capcha filter to get rid of the spammers.

3. The Hurricane John page may do more harm than good. September 2006 is far enough ago that this is no longer breaking news. I wasn't thinking about the hurricane danger until I found this page.

4. The blog page has lots of old entries, this isn't bad, but more new entries would be nice to see.

I like your web. Excellent graphics. I will change the guest book of the home to navigation toll on the header.

I like your site but you need to improve the website navigation and the position of header, logos and navigation menus.The header and logo should always placed at the top and add a little effects such as css or a flash. The pictures or images is scattered and you need to categorized it and placed it in horizontal with description. You need to add the links text or the sitemap for your site.
