Video Card issues
![]() |
Ok recently I blew up my old video card... not sure exactly how I did it... it was over 2 years old... I had a 128 nvidia 6600 in my machine. I recently got Lord of the Rings: Shadows of Angmar I was playing it when the video card died on me.
So I went out and bought a new video card a bfg nvidia 256mb 8600 overclocked. I installed it and its working just fine. However after a while playing lord of the rings: shadows of angmar the screen does something funny, it starts with static and then odd color shifts on the monitor. I have not used the computer for much else and I just reinstalled windows xp professional on it.
I assume this might be due to a lack of ram... would I be correct to assume so as I only have 512mb ram in my machine.
Any Advice or help would be appreciated.
Nathan
