Job Title: Director of National Accounts
Reports To: Vice President of Sales
Department: Sales
Division: Enterprise Security Unit
Location: Chicago, IL

Summary: Manages product line sales support activities for major national accounts in North America and South America by performing the following duties personally or through supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
Special emphasis to key vertical market segments within the Fortune 1000 arena; responsible for account penetration from initial contact to culmination of the sale.
Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Work closely with Technical Support (Sales Engineer) Team.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and three years business development related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong understanding of software security industry, network infrastructure and anti virus, anti spam, content filtering product arena is required.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Order processing systems; Project Management software and Database and PowerPoint software.
